Covent Garden is one of my favorite spots in London. The charming cobblestone streets are lined with shops, theaters, cafes, bars, and restaurants galore… and are always bustling, especially on a sunny England day. So, when my sister was in town for work, it was a no-brainer to get my booty on a train to London to enjoy a much-needed sister weekend, starting with a fun afternoon exploring Covent Garden.
I bought this cute olive green trench vest a couple weeks back and have been waiting for just the perfect opportunity to wear it. Nothing says London more than a trench coat, and I love this fun take on such a classic style. And with the sudden summer-like sunshine we’ve had the last few days (wasn’t it sleeting like last weekend?! whatever, not complaining!!!), it seemed like the perfect time and place to make it’s debut.
The market building is at the heart of Covent Garden and full of lots of little shops and yummy places to try. See that right next to me? Shake Shack to make this American girl happy ;).
After exploring all that the market building has to offer, we wandered off into the winding streets that surround, known as the Seven Dials, and spent the rest of our afternoon doing a little retail therapy. Just what the doctor ordered for our little sister weekend :).
More to come on our fun sissy London adventures soon!
