Happy Tuesday! I got home from my trip to Toronto and NYC last week. My sister and I had such a great time. We got in some good family time with our adorable niece and nephew in Toronto, and then had the most fun week exploring the big apple together! I’ve spent time in the city in the summertime (did a summer course at NYU back in college) and a bit in the winter when we’ve gone back to the east coast to see family for the holidays, but NYC in the fall is just gorgeous! Of all the times I’ve been to New York, I’ve never actually been to Central Park… so one day we decided to make an afternoon of it, and I am so glad we did! We grabbed a hot coffee and took a stroll through the mall, which I’m sure you might recognize from a movie or two! The fall colors were so pretty as the leaves were just starting to change… I can only imagine how gorgeous it will be in a couple of weeks when they’ve all turned!
I wore this scarf so much in NYC (and even got it in another color while I was there :)… it’s so big and warm and looks cute with almost everything. (It’s my favorite item to bring when travelling because it can double as a blanket.. perfect for the plane!) I love draping it over a leather jacket, and paired it with ripped jeans and a cozy sweater. Also might be time to order another pair of my favorite sneakers… I wore them to death this trip!
Stay tuned for a travel diary from our NYC trip… but in the meantime just wanted to share photos from one of my favorite days in the city. 🙂
