a simple thanksgiving tablescape.

With only a little over a week until Thanksgiving, today I thought I would share a simple and easy table setting for your holiday hosting needs! Thanksgiving is obviously not celebrated here in England, but there is no chance I’m missing out on a holiday dedicated to spending time with loved ones and eating ;). And setting the table just so happens to be one of my favorite parts ((right after the pumpkin pie of course ;)). But this year I decided that I’m keeping it simple. No need to stress over a fancy table, it’s the good food and company that matter most! To create this simple setting, I rounded up some pieces of decor that I had lying around the house, picked up a few little white pumpkins, and called it a day.

My table is small, and I don’t have the space to do some elaborate centerpiece (and who likes an over-crowded table anyways?!). So I created a simple display using marble and wood candleholders, these white porcelain votives, and simple white candles intertwined in this grapewood branch. I love the mix of white and natural wood elements.

Thanksgiving is a great time to break out some of your nicer dinnerware, so it was fun to create a table with all of the new items from our wedding registry. I layered white dinner plates with gray salad plates, and added stripe linen napkins and a cute little white pumpkins on top. And we love these Williams-Sonoma wine tumblers! VOILA!

Easy as pie. Thanksgiving doesn’t have to be (and shouldn’t be) stressful after all! Hope you all have a wonderful holiday. Cheers! xx
